CHURCH STAFF
The ministry leadership team at Bethany Baptist Church seeks to see God glorified through intentionally preaching and living the Gospel message. We seek to "Bear the fruit of the Gospel" through our speech, conduct, faith, love, and purity.
PATRICK DANIEL
Patrick has been serving Bethany Baptist Church as their Senior Pastor since July 2021. He was born in Sanford, NC and grew up in the Siler City area. In the summer of 2014, he re-dedicated his life to Christ and soon after received his call to ministry. He graduated from Campbell University with a bachelor of arts in Christian studies while receiving the 2020 church history award, and then graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC with a masters of arts in ministry leadership. His favorite fields of study at Southeastern have been hermeneutics and church history. At the moment, Patrick’s favorite book from the Old Testament is Ruth and his favorite book from the New Testament is Ephesians.
RACHEL GARDNER DANIEL
Rachel has been serving Bethany Baptist Church alongside Patrick ever since they got married in June 2021. She was born in Raleigh, NC and grew up in the Lillington area. She is currently pursuing her bachelor of arts in psychology from Chadron State University, and feels called to help children facing tough experiences. At the moment, Rachel’s favorite book from the Old Testament is Daniel and her favorite book from the New Testament is John’s Revelation.
DENNIS BROWN
Dennis has been serving Bethany Baptist Church as a deacon since 1989, and is currently the chairman of the deacons. He grew up in Bennett, NC and lived his adult life in Gulf. He made an initial profession of faith as a teenager, then re-dedicated his life to Christ upon arriving at Bethany Baptist Church. At the moment, Dennis’ favorite Old Testament book are the collection of Psalms and his favorite new testament book is John’s Gospel account.
